The Kidney Knot (Big Knot At The Bottom Of Halter) Is Designed For Adjusting The Noseband Size And If A Horse Sits Back While Tied To Cross-Ties WITHOUT The Double-Ended Clip Keeping The Kidney Knot From Coming Out, That Knot Will Untie Itself. If You Have A Horse That Sits Back, We HIGHLY Suggest Hard Tying To Something That Is Not Breakable. I love getting the entire halter set! This is the best overall tool for training that you can buy. From starting unhandled horses to horses that need a little refresher encouragement, this halter helps you finesse your way through. Love the softness of the halter. The reins are the perfect size..not too hefty, not too light. I probably own 7 of these sets!

I love this halter set... I decided to try it on my husband's horse who likes to grab the bit and pull the reins out of your hand then take off. Well, he wasn't able to do that with me using the halter set (even though he tried). He is working so much better for me now. Can't say it enough... love this halter set.

Excellent Set

When my daughter asked me for this halter, lead rope and reins set I thought it was too expensive. But her 13th birthday was approaching so I decided to surprise her with it. She has been training her first 2 year old mustang out of the wild with it and it is amazing! It is really high quality, holds up to anything and has helped her tremendously in her training. I ended up buying another halter and lead rope for my other daughter.
