I’ve been riding and training horses for over 30 years. I was very impressed with Michael’s knowledge and way of getting his horses to respect him in a calm way. It was also nice to see his father join in and give his vast experience and knowledge available for us to ask. It was a great learning experience that I feel would benefit anyone who is interested to build an amazing partnership with their horse. Thank you Gascon family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on your experience with Michael and his father. We're delighted to hear that you were impressed with Michael's knowledge and his calm approach to gaining the respect of his horses. It's always rewarding to know that our efforts in creating a positive and educational environment for horse enthusiasts are appreciated.
I have been to the clinic twice and both times I got tons of great information for my horse and myself. Plus, it is super FUN!!! I can't wait to go again!
We are thrilled to hear that you've had such positive experiences at the clinics! It's wonderful that you're finding it both informative and enjoyable. Here's to more great visits in the future!
The confidence retreat was the first retreat I went to and it was exactly what I needed. Not long before the retreat I got bucked off my horse so bad that I blacked out. I never had formal training before the retreat and before I got my own horse I just rode friends and family’s horses when I had the chance cause I loved it but with that I didn’t have a whole lot of knowledge and was never very confident especially cantering. After I got my own horse I got more comfortable cantering in time but after I got bucked off while in a full gallop I pretty much completely lost my confidence cantering and I was scared. The confidence retreat was exactly what I needed to get my confidence back. Since then I’ve been able to canter on horses I’ve never met before or even seen ridden before I got on and we just love cantering and galloping. I’m not gonna say I haven’t fallen off a horse again since then but now I’m a lot more confident in my abilities and also how to problem solve. I’ve been to one other retreat since the my first retreat and I’ll be going to my third retreat in October and I’m so excited!
This is excellent news to hear that you have your confidence back! Thank you for the feedback and we love hearing how the retreats have helped you so much!
Michael helped me out with my new horse I had on trial. He, my horse not Michael, had a lot going for him but some serious gaps in his previous training. By the end of the week, with Michael pinpointing exactly what we could work on together, I knew we would be a successful team. Michael worked with him and taught me how to continue his work. Now, he's an amazing trail partner for me. I couldn't have done it on my own.
Judy we love hearing these stories of successful horse and owner coming together as a team! Keep on enjoying your trail rides!.
I would highly suggest this training! We have worked with Micheal before and only trainer I truly trust with my horses.
